Originating in the Moroccan Sahara desert, the Berber Basket is handmade of seagrass and wool, and each is a true one-of-a-kind piece of art! Beautifully handcrafted, they catch your eye & speak for themselves. How should the brand identity for social media and website look like if you want to stay away from obvious visual style choices?

Make a statement

The basket's round shape gives a dot meaning and main role in the brand identity. You can see it in patterns and copywriting style turning a phrase into a statement. The colour choice was also easy because the source is a Morrocan culture with its woolen folk craft, spices, and bright architecture.

Storytelling for the website

Tell a story, take an adventure and make the e-commerce experience easy and convenient - these are three main conditions that influenced my design choices for the website.

Inspired by the editorial design of magazines like National Geographic, a simple almost minimalistic structure balances the splash of colour and unusual details like New collection slider and product card.
