Dutch creative agency

Amazing hipster location in Amsterdam Noord, only creatives around! At creative agency Belly&Brain was no downside except too many cookies and chocolates in the storage behind me! And please, no surprise, because we had such clients as Godiva, Verkade and Sultana. And look at this pink container!

As you can see from my title one part of my work was brand researches. I was preparing all quantitative and qualitative data and my own conclusions based on the investigation. Usually, it was the first part before the actual rebranding proposal like for Muziek aan Bed or Aruba Aloe. But sometimes the only request was to analyze the brand's position on the market and suggest improvements and ways to get more engagement with customers.

Filing Pieces

Dream job task, I know. Put on yourself sneaker-head skin and dig deeply into Highsnobiety, Instagram, Youtube, and plenty of real interviews with people all over the world. Locally in Amsterdam Belly&Brain together with This Memento have organized a special session with Lovers&Haters of the brand to talk about their expectations and disappointments face-to-face. Here are some photos I took for this project:

After all analyses of competitors, inspiration brands, FP social media, and interviews we proposed a strategy for improvement and I was glad to see that some advice was taken very soon.

Social media planning and design

I was responsible for conceptual media planning for Sultana - every month a new theme that engaged all kinds of posts (engaging, brand awareness etc.). The innovation of the process from my side was that I was trying to reduce the amount of stock images and make special content. It meant that if I wanted to make a gif with carving pumpkin I did it by myself:

At the agency, we believed that even an Instagram story has to be crafted and that's why for Kletskoek project I took tea cup, fruits, cookies and went outside to make original pictures - no Photoshop needed.

In love with branding

Working at Belly&Brain I have realized that after all kinds of design I tried in my life my head and heart chose branding and all that surrounds it: strategy, research, communications, brand identity, graphic design, web design - it all matters and there is one goal: to make brand strong and special.

I am eternally grateful to Rob, Stephan, Romy, and my desk buddy Ray for all help and bits of advice I got. Two foreign languages, new work culture - it was challenging but very exciting and joyful!
